THE LONGER VERSION
I was born and raised in Brasília, the federal capital of Brazil, where I still live. Being in the Country's political hub and scene for so many business and diplomatic activities has influenced my career choices: firstly, when I took up to study Law, and later on when I decided to study English. Luckily, in this transition between fields, I realized my fondness for Linguistics and my aptitude to work with texts.
My academic path brought me valuable and enriching experiences like: (1) interning for HBS (Host Broadcast Services) at 2014 FIFA's World Cup in Brazil; (2) volunteering for organizations such as Mongabay.com, Translators Without Borders, among others; (3) being a language instructor and even teaching Portuguese as a second language for refugees.
Now, I'm blessed to hold a degree in English and English Literature and to be a full-time English to Portuguese translator. My next step is to perfect my French and add it as one of my working languages, as well as finishing my post graduation course.
